Eternal memory to the Hero!

It is with deep sadness that we announce that on October 2, 2025, in the Zaporizhia direction, while performing a combat mission near the village of Zeleny Hai, a 1st-year student of the specialty A4.11 Secondary Education (Physical Culture) of the Kolomyia Educational and Scientific Institute, Volodymyr Vasyliovych Boychuk (10.10.1983-02.10.2025), died.

Volodymyr joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 14, 2023. He served as a machine gunner in the rifle department of the 77th Kolomyia battalion of the 102nd separate territorial defense brigade named after Colonel Dmytro Vitovsky. He had the call sign “Bear” – a symbol of strength, courage and resilience, which always distinguished him among his comrades. He joined the army as a soldier, but thanks to his courage, determination and responsibility, he achieved the rank of junior sergeant and was elected commander of the rifle department.

For his valiant service, courage, and loyalty to his oath, he was awarded the medals “Cross of Glory”, “For Honor and Victory”, and “War Veteran”. Volodymyr’s life was cut short in the prime of his life, but his feat and love for Ukraine will live on in the memory of all who knew him.

We express our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and comrades of the fallen Hero. Eternal memory and glory to the defender of Ukraine!
