Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University has entered the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 for the second time! The university ranks 3rd among Ukrainian higher education institutions, taking 1501+ position in the world ranking of the best universities in the world. Note that in total, only 22 Ukrainian HEIs were included in this year’s ranking, including our university, which is the only representative of the HEI in the region!
This is a significant achievement that indicates the stable growth of scientific potential, international cooperation, and the quality of the educational process.
Analysis of the ranking results clearly demonstrates the improvement of all KNUVS indicators, which are the basis for evaluating higher education institutions within the framework of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.
This includes, in particular, the quality of teaching, the research environment, the level of scientific activity, as well as international recognition. Recall that the Times Higher Education World University Rankings is one of the most prestigious world university rankings, which evaluates educational and scientific institutions in all key areas of activity: teaching, scientific research, and international reputation.
The ranking is based on 18 carefully defined performance indicators, providing the most balanced and objective comparison of universities in the world.
That is why Times Higher Education is a recognized international reference for students, academics, university leaders, businesses and governments.
Congratulations to Carpathian University on yet another international recognition!
